Limited Warranty

Effective date: October 27, 2026

Maison Mataha fragrances are made in France. To make sure every bottle reaches you authentic and in perfect condition, we offer this Limited Warranty on products purchased in the United States from Maison Mataha or from an Authorized Retailer.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Who is covered

This Limited Warranty is extended by TKC PARFUMS SARL (Maison Mataha), 5 boulevard du Mont d'Est, 93160 Noisy-le-Grand, France ("we", "us"), only to the consumer who originally purchased the product in the United States from Maison Mataha or from an Authorized Retailer ("you"). It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product.

A product is purchased in the United States when it is bought from a seller located in the United States, or bought online and delivered to an address in the United States, including orders placed on maisonmataha.com.

Authorized Retailers

For this Limited Warranty, "Authorized Retailer" means only:

  • our website maisonmataha.com;
  • our authorized U.S. distributor, including any online store it operates;
  • retailers located in the United States that are supplied with Maison Mataha products by our authorized U.S. distributor or by us, including the U.S. retailers listed on our Points of Sale page.

No other seller is an Authorized Retailer, including any seller on Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace or any other online marketplace, unless we have confirmed it in writing. To check whether a seller is authorized, write to us at contact@matahaparfums.com.

What this warranty covers

We warrant that each Maison Mataha product ("Product") purchased new, in its original sealed packaging, from Maison Mataha or from an Authorized Retailer:

  • is an authentic Maison Mataha product;
  • is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, such as a faulty spray mechanism or a leaking bottle or cap.

Warranty period

This Limited Warranty begins on the date of your purchase and lasts for three (3) months (the "Warranty Period"). Replacing a Product does not extend the Warranty Period.

What we will do

If a Product covered by this Limited Warranty proves defective during the Warranty Period, it will be replaced free of charge or its purchase price will be refunded. The Authorized Retailer from which you purchased the Product handles the replacement or refund; for purchases on maisonmataha.com, we handle it ourselves. You will not be charged for shipping the replacement Product.

How to make a claim

During the Warranty Period, send your claim to the seller from which you purchased the Product:

  • if you purchased it from an Authorized Retailer, contact that Authorized Retailer, which handles claims from its customers;
  • if you purchased it on maisonmataha.com, email us at contact@matahaparfums.com: we reply within 72 business hours.

Include your proof of purchase (order confirmation, invoice or receipt), photos or a short video showing the defect, and the batch code printed on the bottle or on the box.

What this warranty does not cover

  • Products purchased from sellers who are not Authorized Retailers, including unauthorized third-party sellers on Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace or any other online marketplace;
  • Products sold as used, opened, decanted, refilled or repackaged, or sold outside their original sealed packaging;
  • Products whose batch code, labels or packaging have been removed, altered or defaced;
  • Testers and products marked "Tester", "Sample" or "Not for sale";
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper storage (including exposure to heat, cold or direct sunlight) or failure to follow the instructions on the packaging.

Why this warranty is limited to Authorized Retailers

Unauthorized sellers are outside our distribution network. We cannot verify how their products were sourced, stored or handled, and we cannot guarantee their authenticity or condition. For this reason, products sold in the United States by unauthorized sellers do not carry this Limited Warranty, which makes them materially different from Maison Mataha products sold through Authorized Retailers.

Limitation of implied warranties

Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the Warranty Period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Limitation of remedies

The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies under this Limited Warranty. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Purchases outside the United States

This Limited Warranty applies only to purchases made in the United States. Purchases made in any other country are covered by the legal guarantees of that country and, for orders on maisonmataha.com, by our Terms of Sale. Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws, including, in the European Union, the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.
